Job Board

While this is not our primary focus, some members have asked that, from time to time, we post information to provide employment solutions for our members.

Of course, the web offers many sites which specialize in serving individual career and employer job needs.

Well tested examples:

www.Monster.com is widely used for all sorts of employment. It’s the giant.

www.elance.com acts as a specialty web site–primarily for freelancers.  It’s a giant force for virtual employment. In a typical month, over 25,000 jobs will be posted and some 150,000 “experts” are actively using elance.com to identify situations which are a good match for their talent.  It’s like an eharmony.com for employment matches.

We understand these are good sources as well. One or more of our members have reported positive results with them but we haven’t personally tried them:

And here’s a featured Job Board post from a member of our Advisory Board Power Practice Network:

• A small professional services firm with multiple web sites needs virtual help from a “webmaster” with significant WordPress management experience. Design skill and a working knowledge of SEO would be helpful.
• Compensation will probably be in the $15 to $22 per hour range.  Maybe about 20-30 hours monthly.
